NovelStream is the only Future proof Visual Novel Engine.
Every single other engine currently out right now is likely to be incompatible with devices that are that will appear in the future. For example, no other engine is compatible with the up coming/unreleased Google Chrome OS.
There's 2 great reasons for this:
1. NovelStream is built on the fundamentals of the Internet. Any device that is Internet compatible will be NovelStream compatible.
2. NovelStream updates.
#2 is of crucial importance. No other engine can possibly change with the times. There are probably thousands of visual novels written on older engines that are incompatible with devices like the iPhone.
They have no recourse. They are extremely difficult to update, and even if they try, it is again very difficult to redeliver them to all the customers.
NovelStream is different. Imagine if there's some new gadget invented today that's not compatible with the technologies used by NovelStream. On any other engine, the only option is an expensive re-port. Not if you're with NovelStream. When NovelStream adapts the new technology, and it will, your visual novel will automatically be compatible with the new gadget, with no effort on your part. One day you'll just wake up and be reading your visual novel on that 4d hologram thingie.
