When you read a VN review, what do you expect it to cover?

Hello everyone -

I'm in the process of throwing together a blog dedicated to all aspects of VNs, one of them being reviews.

Assuming you're in the business of buying a VN, what would you want me to cover? Anything that you think VN reviews generally lack?

I think most existing VN reviews are pretty good...

The thing that people don't talk enough about is the technique of the writing (or in some cases the translating). But that's just my personal bias for what I care about.

I don't think most really miss anything, it depends solely on the author of the piece. Their taste, particulars and what catches their eye will be reflected in any sort of review or discussion of the material.
