There are just some characters or paths in visual novels that most people HATE. For instance, almost everyone who has played Snow Sakura hates Misaki. What are some characters (or paths) that you or most people in general tend to hate?
Here's mine from the games I've played:
-Shiina (ONE ~Kagayaku Kisetsu e~): Shiina has to be one of the most annoying characters I've ever seen in an anime, manga, or visual novel. I recently finished all the paths in ONE and had to go through her terrible path. I think the only reason she was included was so there would be more appeal to loli fans. (particularly, the father/daughter loli fans (but with only the annoyingness and no cuteness)) She has the least inspired character, path, and ending out of all the characters. I didn't even know she existed until I saw her in the CG gallery. Due to random choice events, you don't even know she is in the game on most paths.
-Misaki (Snow Sakura): As I said early, Misaki is ugh. No one likes her. While I didn't hate her until I went on her path (Kozue's path already made me dislike her), her path was just terrible. She acted like a stuck-up bitch during most of her path. The only thing I can compliment her on is her ending. (which, like her, is also cliche)
-Ayame (Crescendo): While I don't hate Ayame herself, her path was fairly dull and overly dramatic. She really needs to cool down.
-Almost Every Character in Tokimeki Check-in (Tokimeki Check-in): I don't understand why so many people like this game... All of the characters paths were filled with boring dialouge and very little story. For a game that really isn't a sexromp, the characters act pretty slutty. (ugh, I hated Kiyoka... :uhh:) Even Nanami's (my favorite character) path made me dislike her due to her 'taking everything as a joke' after you rape her.

Now I haven't finished Little Busters! and my Japanese isn't that good (which is why I haven't finished it yet) but Kudo's route WHAT THE HELL. I had to check my self repeatedly because I couldn't believe what I just read. That went off the deep end. I didn't care for Kud much to start began to like her a little and then THAT. This is a writing issue more than a character issue. While she's a bit loli its not exploited like Shiina...
I have heard that there is something terrible about the Kudo path, which really surprises me as she is the cutest character. (basing on her character design; I've only played the demo) How could a girl so cute be so hated?! >_< Does she go yandere or something? (I would actually like that XD) Well, I guess I'll find out once I learn enough Japanese to properly play LB!. (that, or when the patch is released; which ever comes first)
I actually came to really like her character design and personality (and her engrish!) but the plot twists read like a telenovela...just random random plot twists.
Mio's route has severe plot twists as well but the handling makes all the difference. (I'm currently playing Mio's)
The most hated of all heroines are ones that are like Kagome from Inuyahsa or Sakura from Naruto. They make me rage :(
I think she is lovely and her route [SPOILER]should be a bad end[/SPOILER] but it isn't that boring.
Shiina is annoying as hell and she doesn't speak coherently.

Well, at least she has a good personality to match her character design... I'm really disappointed to hear about her route though. I was going to do her path after Rin's...
I never really understood all of the TC! fans. What did you like about it? I thought it would be a fun game at first when the first characters were introduced (though I was starting to get tired after the last few characters were revealed), but then the boring dialogue never ended and just got worse... I liked some of the characters (even though they were cookie cutter) but their paths were just so boring... Nothing happened in them. I even started to hate characters I had previously liked due to their paths and what it revealed about them. (Kiyoka's reason for being depressed, Nanami taking her first H-scene as a joke, etc.) It was just filler after filler... The H-scenes were okay though. (not that they were amazing; a lot better than Critical Point, at least!)
Yeah, I thought the same thing at first. XD But after I played the game enough I actually started to love her voice and couldn't picture her being done by anyone else.
I'm kind of disappointed that a 'special' bad ending wasn't included for Shiina... It would have been hilarious if Shiina was the one to go to Eternity leaving Kouhei with a Misaki/Akane harem. That would be considered the true ending by most people, so I guess that's why it couldn't be included... (Misaki has to take the center stage as main heroine, unfortunately)
Sakura kind of got on my nerves, personally. Not so much in the other routes, but in her own, she just was kind of bleh...
D: For shame... How could you dislike Coco? ;_;
Coco voice was irritating. But she was not bad of a character.
Oh, BTW, I really like Tokimeki Check-in.. ^_^
Asa because of the anime ending, the way she (unintentionally?) mentally break Kaede.... lol.
Saber because Rin is the real heroine... not the random blond girl....[/fanboy mode]
darn them! making me play though a character path instantly makes me love them!!
