Tomoyo After - PC or PS2

I bought Clannad and Tomoyo After a while ago and just finished Clannad, so I'm looking to start with Tomoyo After (or Little Busters or DC2). I've heard that the endings for the PS2 and PC version are quite a bit different, specifically that the PC ending is rather unhappy, is this true? Generally I don't care if I get dragged through the mud (I survived Clannad) so long as I feel good at the end. Would you recommend that I just get ahold of a PS2 version and read that instead; I didn't buy it for the sex, so I don't care if that's missing. If I do read the PS2 version, is there a emulator/text hooker combination that works well?

Thanks

First off, no emulator/translation tool like AGTH for PS2! If you're not too good in Japanese you should just because of that better get the PC version.
If you don't bother though, the PS2 version is definitely better:
Quote:
When Tomoyo After was ported to the PlayStation 2, improvements to the game were included. This edition's scenario was expanded by the original staff after the removal of the adult content which also meant the removal of the sex scenes.[3] With the added scenario and visuals combined, the PS2 edition is 1.5 times longer than the PC edition. In the original version, the entire cast excluding Tomoya Okazaki, had full voice acting; this was not changed for the PlayStation 2 version. Added support was included so as to make the visuals on the television sharper than in the past with visual novels played on a consumer console rather than on the PC.[3] In the past, players' eyes may get tired after playing a visual novel on a television due to slight flickering of the picture, but this was solved with the CS Edition, which made the flickering decrease, reducing eyestrain.

Thanks. By the way, if anyone has played Tomoyo After, how long is it compared to Clannad?

I haven't played TA yet but from what I read on a Chinese forum, the game is about 11 hours long...I am not 100% sure if I read it correctly though.
