Welcome to the new (live) beta

Hello all visitors. As was explained a few weeks ago, this website has been undergoing heavy reconstruction.

As it is, many new features have been added to the site, most notably, our reviews are now organized in a database rather than just a random list. Please check out the database, and let's fill it in together to make it more complete. There are actually many additional features this site has, but a comprehensive list will go out after the conclusion of the beta.

This is still a beta because not all high priority features have been implemented yet, and bugs probably still exist (please report them). Please give feedback to the tech and design team so that they can do a better job. This is the site's project where all serious feedback will be managed: http://visual-novels.net/projects/this-website

Just hit the green give feedback button. If you have general comments that doesn't really need thoughtful replies (like, this site sucks! or, this site is great!, post them as comments here. :)).

Finally, a few apologies. Sorry that this post has come so late. Sorry for the lost ~month of data from the latter half of January, and finally, unfortunately I was told the password converter from the vBulletin forum software that was on the old version of the site to the new site does not work.

All registered users need to use the lost password function to get a new password from the site. Sorry for this, I hope everyone entered a real email. :D The members who register on vBulletin after January 5th will also unfortunately have to make another account as the old account was lost. :(

The real features presentation should come soon. Look forward to it! Questions are welcomed.

What's with the J-List ads, why does this beta have ads while the old site was nicely ad-free?

Easy: because the previous site wasn't ad-free.

We had support us banners on the old site as well, eventhough they were smaller ads existed there too~

Hosting costs a lot...

Atleast the ads are relevant and out of the way :)

Sorry that was me. I'm not used to this yet either ^^;

No more ads. :)

Well, the merger has been called off right now. Clearly we're proceeding with the site on our own. Because we have this extra time, we're just going to wrap up the beta by implementing the final needed features. Expect us to start marketing this site in a few days, though at the moment the site is usable in its current stage.

More news, about the breakup and other things, coming soon. :)

I guess... (and hope) the fire visual novel engine will be ported here.
BTW besides a few things that I guess will probably change over time
(it's still beta)
so I have a lot of expectacion here.
My best wishes for the new site!!!!

Hey, nice to see you here too. :)

The engine is coming shortly, we have a lot of exciting things going on in that realm as well.

I hope we can live up to expectations. :D

Unless something goes horribly wrong, we come out of beta tomorrow. :) No doubt about it.
