Fanfiction of:
Crescendo
The girl is playing. Her fingers are running delicately and assertively on the piano; her face is saying that she really enjoys playing; her body is swaying as she tries to cover all the octaves. The melody is serene and the harmony is exciting.
The boy watches as the girl is recites the piece she prepared for his class for the music festival. He doesn’t have much interest in what his class is supposed to do or what the piece is. Infact he doesn’t care about many things. But somehow he couldn’t refuse the girl when she asked him to listen to her.
The music starts calmly, then gradually reaches its peak and finally calms down.
The boy claps as he shows his appreciation.
The girl calmly stares at the boy, and then speaks. Her voice is both childish and mature, both sad and happy. Like a child complaining to her mother and a mother soothing her child.
“How did you like it Sasaki-san?”
“I liked it a lot. What is it? Ragtime?”
“No; do you know about any type of piano music besides ragtime?”
She can’t help but tease him
“Jazz?” The boy answers as he scratches his head and tries to puts on a serious expression
For some reason, the girl doesn’t respond just smiles, and after a while says.
“It’s a piano piece written by Beethoven, it’s called Furelise. The participant from your class knows a little about classical piano so I suggested this piece as it is more expressive and less technical.”
“Furelise? What does it mean?”
“Actually Furelise is the more popular name, it’s titled Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor for solo piano. Although it’s called a bagatelle it’s more of a rondo. The name Fur Elise may mean For Elise, who was Beethoven’s umm….. how to say this?”
“Girlfriend?”
“….”
She just blushes
